Q. I found out recently the money raised from selling gold cards for the teams at our school go into booster clubs, and not ASB. I recall you saying gold card money should go into ASB and not a booster club. Can you could clarify the subject and why it should go into ASB and not booster?
Q. We would like to purchase items to reward kids on good behavior. These items are NOT for resale, but to give out as a 鈥渞eward鈥. Is our ASB allowed to do that? I heard we cannot purchase food as a 鈥減rize鈥, and so we are looking at purchasing beanies, water bottles, Nerf footballs, etc. I鈥檓 sorry that I鈥檓 bothering you about this, but before we purchase these items I wanted to find out from you if we can. Q. Our Middle School conducted a fundraiser under ASB. Now they would like to donate $500 of the $12,000 raised to Homeless Backpacks (nonprofit). They would note it in their minutes. Will that be sufficient since they didn鈥檛 raise it under Private Purpose Trust (6000) account?
